After not playing since the end of November Thrapston progressed in the League Cup with a straightforward win against Billing.
Thrapston started off well playing some good passing football resulting in Dan giving us an early lead.
With the ladies always looking in control Hannah added two more goals giving a 3-0 half time lead.
With the game effectively won changes in formation were made with the aim of giving everyone some decent game time. This resulted in Thrapston's play not being as fluent but plenty of chances were carved out but only one was converted with Shannon scoring her first goal for the club. Billing hit back with a late consolation goal with the game seeing Thrapston 4-1 winners.
Decent performances all round given the lengthy lay off, especially from Nat in defence but just shading it for POM was April putting in a strong performance and hitting the post denying her a deserved goal.
The only downer on the day was an ankle injury to Sophie - hopefully not too serious & she makes a speedy recovery.
